Background
Judge Thomas A. McCarthy was appointed associate circuit judge in May 2018. He graduated from Truman State University with a B.S. in finance and earned his J.D. from St. Louis University.
Prior to his appointment, Judge McCarthy worked in private practice and served as an assistant St. Louis County prosecutor and an assistant St. Louis City counselor.
