Background
Judge Robert L. Trout served as a municipal judge in Lone Jack from 1980 to 1987. He was appointed to the circuit court in 1987. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1975, and a B.A. from William Jewell College in 1971. Prior to assuming the bench, he practiced law in Blue Springs and Odessa.
