Background

Judge John Lasater was appointed to Division 38 of the 21st Circuit in 2017. His judicial assignments include associate civil matters. Judge Lasater earned a B.S. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Judge Lasater is a member of The Missouri Bar Board of Governors, the Lawyers Association of St. Louis and the St. Louis County Bar Association. He is a Boy Scout adult leader and troop committee member; treasurer of the Wisconsin Alumni Club in St. Louis; and member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood.
