Background
Judge Goldman was appointed to the circuit court in 1988. He graduated from Parkway Central High School, Washington University and Saint Louis University School of Law. Before he was appointed to the bench, Judge Goldman was the chief trial attorney for the St Louis County Prosecutors Office. He was the drafter of the current Missouri homicide and assault statutes and the statute that removes voluntary intoxication as a defense to crimes.
Discussion
Attorneys rated Judge Goldman as meeting or exceeding expectations for all 16 criteria in their evaluation. He was highly commended for treating people equally and maintaining proper order and decorum in the court.
