Background
Judge Ellen Dunne was appointed to the 21st Judicial Circuit Court in January 2017. In this role, she has been assigned civil/equity cases, expungements, small claims and denovo review of small claims. Judge Dunne participates on several committees in the circuit court, including the diversity committee, rules committee and commissioner’s review committee.
Judge Dunne earned a B.A. at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a J.D. at Saint Louis University. She is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the St. Louis County Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Associate Circuit and Probate Judges and Women Lawyers of Greater St. Louis, where she serves on the board and as CLE committee chair. She is a board member of the Guardian Angel Settlement Association and volunteers with USO of Missouri.
