Background

Hon. David Mason was appointed circuit judge in August 1991 in the 22nd Circuit. His judicial assignments include civil and criminal trials.

Mason graduated from Washington University School of Law and was admitted to The Missouri Bar in 1983.

Prior to his appointment, Mason served as an assistant attorney general, general counsel to the Missouri Department of Corrections, and was in private practice.

Mason is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, American Bar Association, and the Mound City Bar Association. He is a past board member (1998-2000) of the American Judicature Society.
