Judicial commission selects nominees for circuit judge vacancy in St. Louis County

The Twenty-First Circuit Judicial Commission announced the panel of three nominees to be submitted to Gov. Nixon to fill the circuit judge vacancy in St. Louis County created by the retirement of Judge Mark D. Seigel. The nominees are: Judge Sandra Farragut-Hemphill, Judge Mary Elizabeth Ott (photo not available) and Thomas J. Plunkert.

The 22nd Judicial Circuit Commission will interview all 20 applicants for the circuit judge vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Grady. The applicants include 11 women and nine men. Interviews will be conducted on November 12 and 13 and are open to the public.

The 31st Circuit Judicial Commission selected a panel of three nominees for the associate circuit judge position in Greene County created by the retirement of Judge Mark Fitzsimmons.  The nominees are: Becky J.W. Borthwick, Randall D. Eggert and Douglas Andrew (Andy) Hosmer.

The 21st Circuit Judicial Commission announced that all 31 applicants – 15 women and 16 men – will be interviewed for the current circuit judge vacancy in St. Louis County. There are seven minority applicants. Interviews are scheduled for October 22 and 23 and open to the public.
