The 22nd Circuit Judicial Commission will interview all 22 applicants for the circuit judge vacancy created by the retirement of Judge David. Applicants include 12 women, 10 men, eight minorities, 14 non-minorities, eight presently employed in the private sector and 14 in the public sector. Interview dates will be announced.

The 16th Circuit Judicial Commission has interviewed 19 applicants and selected a panel of three nominees for the circuit judge vacancy in Division 12 of the Jackson County Circuit Court, created by the retirement of Judge Edith L. Messina. The nominees are Marilyn B. Keller, Susan Elizabeth Long and Jennifer Marie Phillips.

The commission has submitted the panel to Gov. Jay Nixon, who will have 60 days to appoint one of the nominees as circuit judge for Division 12.

The 22nd Circuit Judicial Commission announced the panel of three nominees to be submitted to Gov. Jay Nixon to fill the vacancy on the St. Louis Circuit Court created by the retirement of Judge Thomas C. Grady. The nominees are Judge Christopher E. The 21st Judicial Circuit Commission will interview all 31 applicants for the current associate circuit judge vacancy in St. Louis County created by the appointment of Judge Sandra Farragut-Hemphill to the circuit bench. Interviews are set for Feb. 4 and Feb. 5 and are open to the public.

The Sixteenth Circuit Judicial Commission announced that it will interview all applicants – nine women and 10 men – for the vacancy on the Jackson County circuit court created by the retirement of Judge Messina. The public interviews are scheduled for January 20.

Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District is holding a docket in the Cape Girardeau County commission chambers in Jackson on November 19, 2014. Interested citizens are invited to attend the court sessions. A panel of judges consists of Judge Mary K. Hoff, Judge Gary Gaertner Jr. and Judge Philip Hess.

Chief Judge Angela T. Quigless said, “We are honored to hold court in Jackson. This docket continues a tradition of the Eastern District of convening court in areas outside of St. Louis, where the court regularly conducts its sessions. This is the third time the court has traveled to Jackson to hear oral arguments.”

Gov. Jay Nixon Friday appointed Andy Hosmer as Associate Circuit Judge for the 31st Circuit in Greene County. Hosmer will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Mark Fitzsimmons.

Hosmer was one of three applicants submitted to the governor for consideration by the 31st Circuit Judicial Commission under the Missouri Non-Partisan Court Plan.
